Mumbai:
Filmmaker
Mahesh
Bhatt,
who
is
busy
promoting
his
movie
Jism
2,
admits
that
Sunny
Leone
starrer
film
is
an
erotic
thriller.
But
what
he
insists
is
that
Jism
sequel
is
conservative
and
traditional
in
a
way.
He
highlights
that
the
movie
has
an
emotional
quotient,
which
is
very
different
from
other
movies.
Addressing
a
promotional
event
in
Mumbai
on
Thursday,
Mahesh
Bhatt
said,
"It
is
a
conservative...
traditional
film
in
a
way.
It
is
about
a
journey
of
a
porn
star,
her
longing
for
real
love.
It
is
a
journey
of
a
woman
from
the
lust
market
who
peddles
lust
to
people's
anguish.
It
is
her
quest
for
love."
The
Bollywood
filmmaker
told
PTI,
"Jism
2
is
of
an
erotic
thriller
genre.
It
is
not
right
to
think
that
it
is
only
that..
there
is
emotional
quotient
in
the
film
as
well
which
is
very
different
from
other
movies.
We
had
Sunny
in
our
mind
since
2002,
but
things
did
not
materalise
then."
Mahesh
Bhatt
added,
"We
had
also
thought
of
Mallika
and
Bipasha,
but
Pooja
Bhatt
(director)
felt
both
were
not
apt,
she
was
not
happy
with
it.
She
felt
it
would
be
like
treading
on
the
similar
path.
Then
again
we
had
an
encounter
with
Sunny
and
Pooja
was
more
than
happy
to
have
her
in
the
film."
Randeep
Hooda
and
Arunoday
Singh
play
Sunny
Leone's
love
interest
in
the
film
Jism
2,
which
releases
on
August
3.
Mahesh
Bhatt
further
said,
"We
saw
Indianess
in
Sunny,
she
had
a
persona
of
a
porn
star
and
she
fit
the
bill
for
Jism
2.
The
requirement
of
the
film
was
that
a
girl
who
makes
a
living
for
herself
through
the
path
of
sin
but
has
a
heart
of
gold."
