Olympic medalist Mary Kom making her foray into Bollywood?

Mumbai: It was earlier reported that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is working on a movie about Indian boxing star Mary Kom, who had won a bronze medal at the London Games. The latest buzz is that Kom expressed her desire to work in Bollywood movies.

Talking to Mid Day, Mary Kom said, "I would love to do a small role in the film. Maybe like that of the old lady from Titanic who comes back to tell her tale." We hope Bhansali, who is making a biopic based on Mary's life, gives her a chance to do a cameo in the film.

Mary hopes that this biopic serves as a source of inspiration to youngsters. She had earlier said, "I hope that this film inspires aspiring sportspersons to take it up professionally and represent India at an international level."
