Parineeti Chopra bags best debut award at Filmfare

When Parineeti Chopra started off in Bollywood with Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl, there was still a doubt in every one"s mind, if she could match up to the standards set by her cousin Priyanka Chopra. However, after the Filmfare awards on Sunday, Parineeti has erased the shadow of all doubts from the minds of the audience as she took home the award for the best debut female.

Her role as Dimple Chadda, a rich and spoilt Delhi-ite, in Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl has been highly appreciated by all. Parineeti has done full justice to her role with her impeccable comic timing and brash dialogue delivery and ensured the continuation of the Chopra tradition of excellence. She was well rewarded with Zee cine, Screen and the Apsara awards apart from the Filmfare falling in her kitty.

Parineeti Chopra will make her debut as a lead actress in Yash Raj"s next Ishaqzaade. What remains to be seen is whether she continues to enthrall us with mind blowing performances.
