Rajesh Khanna cremated in Mumbai

Bollywood's "Pasha of Passion" Rajesh Khanna has been cremated today at Vile parle crematorium, in Mumbai. His last rites were performed by his grandson Aarav Kumar today at 12 pm. The superstar's final journey began as his body was taken out of his house for the funeral procession.

The procession of the superstar started around 10.15 am, today morning, and thousands flanked the streets to catch one last glimpse of their favourite star.

Khanna, who was suffering from prolonged illness, passed away yesterday afternoon at his Bandra residence 'Aashirwad'. A day after being discharged from Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, Rajesh Khanna's health deteriorated again, following which he was put on ventilator yesterday. But, unfortunately he succumbed to death yesterday.

Khanna's sudden death left the entire nation and the Bollywood under tremendous shock and grief.
