Riteish Deshmukh wants to donate liver to critically ill father

Riteish Deshmukh's father Vilasrao Deshmukh, who was the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, is in a very critical condition at a Chennai hospital. He has liver cirrhosis and both his kidneys have stopped functioning. Reportedly, Riteish has said that he wants to donate part of his liver to his father to save his life.

According to reports, Vilasrao Deshmukh's illness was diagnosed a year ago and to cure the disease he also went for a surgery abroad. But he fell critically ill recently as both his kidneys stopped working. He has serious liver ailment and multiple organ failure. However, doctors are trying to stabilize his condition to conduct a liver transplant.

Riteish Deshmukh has said that doctors are conducting a test and if everything matches, he will donate a part of his liver to his critically ill dad.
