Salim Khan's verdict on son Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger!

Superstar Salman Khan's much-awaited release Ek Tha Tiger's trailer has already garnered immense applauds and appreciations. But, when it comes to the actor's family, Sallu's father Salim Khan too seems quite happy with the film.

Papa Salim feels that Ek Tha Tiger would be a landmark film in Salman's life. Ek Tha Tiger's director wrote on Twitter, "Showed 'Ek Tha Tiger' to a living legend of screenwriting in Hindi cinema. At the end of the film he hugged me and said - 'Ab sojao beta..'. With a beaming smile he said - 'it's a landmark film for Salman'. It was the man whose films we saw and studied in film school. It was Salim Khan."

Salim Khan, the legendary writer had earlier churned out blockbuster hits like Zanjeer, Sholay and Deewar. Also, Salim would make a comeback to his old job of script writing with his son's upcoming movie Sher Khan. On the other hand, Salman's Ek Tha Tiger is scheduled to release on August 15.

Ek Tha Tiger is a story about a RAW agent (India's external intelligence agency), who is sent to Dublin, Ireland to observe a scientist of Indian origin, suspected of sharing his research findings with the Pakistan defence establishment. In his effort to know more about the scientist, Tiger (Salman Khan) befriends his part time home caretaker, Zoya (Katrina Kaif). Tiger falls in love for the first time and what follows is a tumultuous journey of Tiger and Zoya.
