Salman Khan fans goes berserk, attacks police station!

Kanpur: Salman Khan is one such actor, whose fan following goes beyond imagination. No matter what wrong he does, this Khan definitely knows to spawn mass hysteria. In a recent incident in Kanpur, Salman Khan fans went on the rampage after a rumour broke that the actor was in the town to shoot his new film Dabangg 2, forcing police to resort to baton charge and arrest six persons.

The fans gathered around Bajaria police station (Kanpur) since afternoon, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. But, when told that the actor is not coming, they went berserk and vandalised the police station. Police resorted to baton charge to control the crowd and arrested six people. "The crowd was standing there hoping that Salman Khan is coming. To control the crowd we had to restore to lathi charge. We have filed complaint against many," said ACP Bharat Singh.

The madness and hype surrounding Salman even goes beyond this. A while ago, the news was such that one of Salman's loyal fans had committed murder to honour his promise of repaying a loan. The man was inspired by Salman's one-liner from the film Wanted due to which he dared to commit such a heinous crime.
