met
the
sister
and
daughters
of
Sarabjit
Singh
recently.
Sarabjit
Singh
has
been
in
a
Pakistan
prison
since
1990.
The
46-year-old
dynamic
actor
has
begun
online
campaign
urging
people
to
sign
petition
to
free
the
falsely
accused
Indian.
"Today,
Sarabjit's
sister
and
daughters
had
come
to
meet
Salman.
They
had
come
on
the
sets
of
Dabangg
2
at
Mehboob
Studio," a
close
associate
of
Salman
told
PTI.
Sarabjit's
sister
Dalbir
Kaur
is
actively
working
towards
the
release
of
Sarabjit.
Sarabjit,
who
is
married
to
Sukhpreet
Kaur,
has
two
daughters
-
Poonam
and
Swapnadeep.
The
Dabangg
star
plans
to
hand
the
petition
to
Pakistan
government
in
a
bid
to
free
Sarabjit,
who
has
been
on
death
row
in
Lahore
jail
since
1990.
Earlier,
on
the
micro
blogging
site
Twitter,
Salman
had
expressed
how
sad
he
felt
about
Sarabjit's
family
and
mentioned
that
he
wanted
to
launch
his
support
for
Sarabjit's
release.
