Salman
Khan
seems
to
have
become
the
first
choice
for
South
Indian
remake
films.
After
Ready
and
Bodyguard,
there
is
yet
another
film,
which
is
ready
to
fall
into
his
laps.
However
this
time,
the
Dabangg
star
will
have
a
serious
project,
which
could
show
the
other
side
of
his
acting
abilities.
Well,
director
Sathish
Kaushik
has
said
that
he
want
to
cast
Salman
Khan
in
the
remake
of
Tamil
blockbuster
Pithamagan,
which
was
one
of
the
films
that
catapulted
Vikram
to
fame
and
fortune.
The
filmmaker,
who
has
completed
the
script
recently,
will
be
soon
approaching
Sallu
bhai.
He
believes
that
the
actor
could
do
justice
to
the
role
of
a
graveyard
caretaker.
However,
it
is
noted
that
they
have
worked
before
in
Tere
Naam,
which
was
also
a
Vikram's
film
titled
Sethu.
Pithamagan
tells
the
story
of
an
autistic
cemetery
man
named
Chithan
played
by
Vikram
and
small-time
thief
Sakthi,
which
was
performed
by
Surya
(Rakta
Charitra
fame).
The
former,
who
was
an
orphan
at
a
young
age,
grew
in
a
world
where
he
did
not
have
much
contacts
with
humans.
However,
Sakthi
tries
to
reform
the
uncivilised
Chithan
and
they
become
good
friends
in
the
process.
Meanwhile,
the
former
is
killed
by
a
ganja
dealer.
How
Chithan
seeks
revenge
against
him
is
the
crux
of
the
story.
