Shahrukh Khan to play Dhyan Chand in a biopic

If everything goes well, then Shahrukh Khan might play the role of legendary hockey player Dhyan Chand in a biopic.

Shahrukh Khan has told a leading website that he has been approached for a movie based on the life of legendary Dhyan Chand. He also said that he has been an athlete throughout his school and college life and he has played a lot of hockey.

Shahrukh Khan has always been a die hard sports fan. And not many people know that in his college days, he was the captain of both hockey and soccer team. He has also shown his hockey skills in the movie Chak De, which was a block buster.

Apparently, multiple biopic on Dhyan Chand are in the pipeline. It has been reported that filmmaker Satyajeet Puri is also very keen to put the life of Dhyan Chand on silver screen under the production banner of Manmohan Shetty’s Walkwater Media.
