Shahrukh Khan calls himself an 'idiot'

Superstar Shahrukh Khan regrets doing a great film like Devdas in 2002, since he finds himself too small and meagre for the role of Devdas. During a book launch event, SRK called himself an 'idiot' who dared to play the same role of Devdas that was earlier played by legendary actor Dilip Kumar.

Dilip Kumar played the role of Devdas that was made in 1955. Shahrukh feels that Dilip Kumar, who did an incredible job in the film, is impossible to get imitated. None can copy Dilip except 'idiots' like SRK, as the King Khan confessed.

Shahrukh received applauds and lots of appreciation for his role in the film. But a dissatisfied Khan admits that he was stupid to do a film like Devdas, that was crafted so beautifully earlier. Despite SRK is a superstar, we must appreciate his humbleness and self-confession to call himself by names in public.
