Ra.One bagged the trophy for the Best Special Effects at
the 59th National Awards that was announced today. SRK was glad
that his film was acknowledged at the National Awards and even

Amidst talks about how Ra.One bombed at the box office
and the immense expenses that Shahrukh Khan's company had to incur
because the film flopped at the box office, the film managed to bag
the 59th National Awards. SRK tweeted, “Even when my babies win a
prize at a b'day party, my chest swells with pride. Today my baby
got a National Award (v f/x). I lov u Ra.One.”
Ra.One, which was made in both 2D and 3D was made at a
whooping budget of Rs 150 crore. Though the film was praised for
its visual effects, the critics had slammed the film.
