Revealed: Shahrukh Khan's special gift to Yash Chopra on his birthday

The king of romance Yash Chopra turned 80 today. On this occasion, Shahrukh Khan, who is very close to Yash Chopra, has planned to give a special gift to the veteran director.

Talking about Shahrukh Khan's gift, a source told a leading daily, "Some of SRK's biggest hits have been with Yashji and his banner. So, we will witness SRK talk to him about his life, films and his entire journey. It's an homage to Yash Chopra. It was the Yash Raj Films team who came up with the idea, and Shahrukh was very excited about it."

The source added, "SRK is the only one from the present generation of actors who has worked so extensively with Yashji. The event is being planned on a big level. Yashji generally doesn't face the camera. Not many tend to remember that before making romantic films, Chopra also directed some intense ones."

Yash Raj banner has given Shahrukh Khan many important films of his life. Shahrukh's first film with Yash Raj was Darr (1993). After Darr, Shahrukh worked with Chopras in superthit films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Mohabbatein (2000), Veer Zaara (2004) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008).

After Veer Zara, Shahrukh Khan and Yash Chopra are all set to bring the same magic again on screen with Jab Tak Hai Jaan. We are desperately waiting!
