Sonali Bendre supports Aishwarya Rai's post pregnancy weight gain

Actress Sonali Bendre, who is a very close to the Bachchan family, feels that people are being too harsh on Aishwarya Rai. Ash has gained oodles of weight after giving birth to her daughter Aaradhya last year. Her weight gain has become the hot topic of the nation.

Talking to the media during a promotional event at Ahmedabad, Sonali said that Aishwarya is a new mother, hence she deserves a break. She even feels that people are being too harsh on her. When asked about the Bollywood moms, who are making their unsuccessful comeback in the industry, Sonali said, "In the past a number of actors have succeeded even when they had babies. The script is the winner... everything else is secondary."

Sonali is the mother of a 7-year-old son and is in no hurry to take up projects. The actress admits that she is currently in a very happy state and wouldn't take up any project in the near future, unless it takes her to a happier space.
