Mumbai: Jism 2 actress Sunny Leone is termed as a seductress today, but, like many other Indian kids, the porn star too led a very conservative life as a child. Born as Karen Malhotra, Sunny Leone hails from a punjabi family. Hence, she had quite a modest upbringing.

Talking to a leading daily, Ms Leone said, "We had a pretty Indian childhood. Growing up in a Punjabi household in Canada, we were pretty connected to our roots." "We weren't allowed to wear short skirts, etc. In fact, when I came to India and saw the kind of clothes teens and pre-teens wore in the Bandra area, I was quite surprised," Sunny said.
