Besides
acting,
actress
Vidya
Balan
has
also
helped
producer-cum-director
Sujoy
Ghosh
in
making
her
upcoming
movie
Kahaani,
which
is
slated
to
release
this
weekend.
Impressed
Sujoy
has
planned
to
write
a
script
for
the
Bollywood
star.
But
Vidya
says
that
she
is
content
with
her
acting
career
and
has
no
wish
to
venture
into
direction.
Vidya
Balan,
who
is
busy
promoting
the
movie
Kahaani,
says
that
she
can
never
direct
a
film.
Talking
to
PTI
at
a
publicity
activity
in
Kolkata,
the
actress
said,
“Sujoy
has
been
saying
this
for
a
long
time.
He
has
even
told
me
that
he
will
soon
write
a
script
for
me.
But
I
don't
think
I
can
ever
direct
a
film.”
The
34-year-old
Malayali
actress
first
impressed
everyone
with
her
Bollywood
debut
as
a
coy
Bengali
belle
in
Pradeep
Sarkar
directed
Parineeta
in
2005.
Later,
Vidya
Balan
earned
rave
reviews
for
her
strong
performances
in
movies
like
Bhool
Bhulaiyaa,
No
One
Killed
Jessica,
Ishqiya
and
The
Dirty
Picture.
The
actress
will
be
seen
as
an
NRI
woman
searching
for
her
lost
husband
in
Kolkata
in
Sujoy
Ghosh's
Kahaani.
Talking
about
direction,
Vidya
Balan
further
says,
“I
am
getting
meaty
parts
in
films,
then
why
should
I
settle
for
bones.
Acting
is
fine,
but
I
don't
think
I
will
ever
turn
into
direction.”
