We
recently
saw
that
a
few
complaints
were
made
against
the
upcoming
movie
Ram
Leela.
A
lawyer
had
moved
a
public
interest
litigation
(PIL)
which
stated
that
Ram
Leela
may
create
enmity
between
communities.
Well,
we
already
see
some
disharmony
in
the
society.
A
large
group
of
people
from
the
Rajput
community
protested
against
lead
actress
Deepika
Padukone.
Forty
people
were
detained
at
the
Ahmedabad
airport
after
they
protested
against
the
Ram
Leela
actress.
Deepika
was
in
the
city
of
Ahmedabad
to
attend
a
Garba
event.
The
police
tells
us
that
the
forty
who
were
detained
were
released
after
a
while.
The
Rajput
community
feels
that
their
community
has
been
misrepresented
in
the
Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali
film
which
is
all
set
to
hit
the
theatres
on
November
15
this
year.
The
Rajput
community
is
demanding
that
Ram
Leela
should
not
be
released
in
Gujarat.
The
Rajputs
claim
that
Ram
Leela
depicts
enmity
between
two
communities
-
Rabari
Rajput
and
Darbar
Rajput.
They
feel
it
is
done
through
the
character
of
a
daughter
of
a
Darbar
family
played
by
Deepika
Padukone,
who
has
romantic
relations
with
a
boy
from
the
Rabari
Rajput
community
(played
by
Ranveer
Singh).
The
community
therefore
feels
that
Ram
Leela
may
lead
to
provocation
or
instigation
of
fights
between
the
two
communities
and
releasing
such
a
film
may
also
result
in
a
violent
situation
between
Darbar
and
Rabari
families
in
Gujarat.
