While gearing up for its grand release, Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 is busy breaking all records of screen counts in South India. The most expected film of this year, Dhoom 3 is releasing this week all over the world.
Earlier, Kriish 3 , the final film in Rakesh Roshan's
science fiction triology, made it to 750 screens in South India
alone. According to various reliable sources, the producers are
planning to release Dhoom 3 in more than 850 screens.
Dhoom 3, with its stunning promotional strategies, will
release in 100 screens in Kerala and in 150 screens in Tamil Nadu.
Sai Korrapati (Bellary Sai), the distributor who bought the Andhra
area rights of the film , is confident that he would get to release
the film 250 screens in that region.
Vandana Films of YRF, Nizam distributor of Dhoom 3, is
busy booking more than 200 screens while Pal Enterprises of Yash
Raj Films, the distributor in Mysore region, is looking forward to
release it in 100 screens. With distributors planning the biggest
jackpot win of the year with this film, the screen count of
Dhoom 3 is on a steady rise. Thus the total screen count
for this action packed film will be almost 850 in South India
alone. The mentioned number is a grand total of screens all
language versions of Dhoom 3 reach in the opening
Vijay Krishna Acharya, who penned the first film in the
franchise and directed the second film, is donning the director's
cap for Dhoom 3. This time, the third Dhoom film attaches the names
of industry heavy weights such as Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif
to it and is expected to be the biggest blockbuster till date. As
unconventional he is, Aamir Khan plays the villain in the film
while Uday Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan reprise their respective
roles from the former Dhoom films.
Dhoom 3 is scheduled to hit the theatres on 20 December and advance bookings have already started.
