Bollywood
actor
Abhishek
Bachchan,
whose
just
released
film
Dhoom
3
is
creating
buzz
at
the
box
office,
yesterday
cancelled
his
work
commitments
due
to
personal
reasons.
Abhishek
was
to
meet
industrialist
Vijay
Mallya
at
the
launch
of
Kingfisher
calendar
in
Mumbai
and
then
attend
a
promotional
event
of
Dhoom
3
but
had
to
cancel
his
plans
at
the
last
minute
due
to
the
demise
of
a
close
relative
of
his
wife
Aishwarya.
According
to
sources
close
to
him,
junior
Bachchan
rushed
to
be
with
wife
Aishwarya
after
getting
the
news
of
the
demise.
The
37-year-old
Bollywood
star
has
reprised
his
role
of
Jai
Dixit
in
Dhoom
3,
which
hit
theatres
Friday.
Apart
from
being
a
fabulous
actor,
Abhishek
Bachchan
is
a
very
dutiful
father
and
a
loving
husband
too.
Recently,
when
he
was
asked,if
there
is
anything
specific
that
he
is
keen
to
teach
his
daughter,
he
replied,
"No
yaar.
Her
mother
is
superb
at
it.
There
is
no
room
for
me
to
do
anything.
She
is
a
supermom!''
Regrading
Aishwarya
making
a
comeback,
Abhishek
said,
When
Abhi
was
asked
whether
he
misses
seeing
his
wife
on-screen
and
he
says,
''I
love
her
as
an
actress.
I
am
a
big
fan
of
her
work
and
obviously
I
would
like
to
see
her
back
on
the
screen.
But
she
should
be
given
the
liberty
to
choose
the
kind
of
films
she
wants
to
choose.
Her
selection
process
has
been
all
immaculate
and
I
am
sure
she
knows
which
is
the
right
time
and
film
for
her
to
strike
back.''
Recently,
rumours
about
ad
filmmaker
Prahlad
Kakkar
approaching
the
couple
for
his
film
had
been
making
rounds.
When
asked
about
the
latest
about
the
report,
he
clarifies,
''Prahlad
is
a
very
old
friend
of
Aishwarya
and
he
knows
her
since
her
advertising
days.
Prahlad
has
a
script
which
he
is
keen
that
Aishwarya
and
I
do
it.
We
haven't
heard
it
yet.
As
and
when
we
hear
it
and
if
we
like
it
then
we
will
decide
to
do
it.
But
we
haven't
heard
the
script
so
I
can't
say
that
yeah
we
are
doing
it.''
