In Pics: Abhishek, Shahid leave handprints at IIFA 2013

Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor, who are a part of the 14th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, 2013 have reportedly attended the press meet of the award function. As per reports, Abhishek and Shahid have left their handprints in a special cement mould.

IIFA, being one of Bollywood's grandest shows is going to make fans go gaga over the star performances this year. Abhishek, who will also perform at the awards on Saturday after a gap of few years, is looking forward to the function. On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor will be co-hosting the show along with Shahrukh Khan.

Talking to the press conference, Abhishek Bachchan said, "It has been an eventful morning...welcome to Macau! I was here in 2009, when I performed. It will be a very exciting weekend. IIFA is one such event where we get to showcase the (Indian) film industry. There will be a lot of activity here."

IIFA will also promote empowerment of women through their campaign "Power of 49". Celebrities like Abhishek, Shahid, Parineeti Chopra, Gauhar Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ayushmann Khurrana unveiled the badge of the campaign and also wore them.
