Aishwarya Rai Bachchan keeps mum on comeback in Bollywood

Bachchan,
who
has
been
away
from
the
silver
screen
for
about
two
years,
is
keeping
mum
on
her
comeback
project
amid
reports
that
she
has
been
approached
by
Mani
Ratnam
and
Karan
Johar.
When
asked
about
her
comeback
on
the
silver
screen,
Aishwarya
said,
"I
cannot
give
you
a
date.
Whenever
I
am
on
board
for
a
film
I
will
let
you
all
know."
"There
is
no
guarantee
in
creative
field.
Without
hurting
anyone's
sentiments,
there
is
no
guarantee
of
the
release
of
a
film," she
said.
The
actress
on
Wednesday
unveiled
the
58th
Filmfare
Award
black
trophy.
The
organisers
plan
to
do
something
special
this
year
as
this
is
the
100th
year
of
Indian
cinema.
"I
am
privileged
and
honoured
to
be
here.
It
is
for
the
first
time
that
I
am
not
nominated...but
that
was
due
to
my
baby
Aaradhya.
But
still
I
will
take
this
black
lady
trophy
home
(the
one
she
unveiled)," she
said.
Aishwarya
refused
to
pick
up
any
favourite
actor,
actress,
film
of
2012,
but
said
her
actor
husband
Abhishek
Bachchan
was
her
"favourite
for
life".
