Akshay Kumar And Kareena Kapoor In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gabbar

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor might soon be seen together in a movie titled Gabbar. There were reports of a rift between the Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bebo, but now it seems like they have made up and are ready to work with each other. The film would be produced by the Sanjay himself.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to cast Kareena in the movie Ram Leela but she had to opt out due to date issues. But now it looks like that the director's dream of working with his favourite actress has finally come true. Gabbar is a remake of a South film Ramanaa and it will be directed by Telugu filmmaker Krish. If all goes well, the 31 year old actress will play the role of Akki's wife, which was portrayed by Simran in the original movie. Click here to view images of Kareena Kapoor.

The makers have also roped in Shraddha Kapoor, who would be playing the other lead role. Akshay will essay the role of a common man who wants to make the society corruption free. The original Ramanaa was a huge blockbuster in the south and it's Hindi remake is expected to recreate the magic.

Kareena has earlier worked with Akshay in movies like Tashan, Ajnabee, Aitraaz, Bewafa.
