The 2013 comedy film Fukrey may see a sequel. At the success
party of Fukrey, Ali Fazal hinted that there may be Fukrey 2.
Fukrey is a small budget film directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and
produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner
Fukrey released on June 14 this year. This movie is set in Delhi
that revolves around four boys who come together to make easy
money. The word 'Fukrey' is a colloquial Punjabi term for slackers.
This film had a pitiful opening but later became a hit.
When asked about where the celebrations are going, actor Ali
gave a clue saying, "I think till Fukrey 2. Well, not right now but
the demand is such that we will have to make a second part. People
are asking us for more."
Fukrey also stars Manjot Singh, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma,
Priya Anand, Richa Chadda and Vishakha Singh.
Ali was happy with the success and looks forward to it. He also
said, "We are excited, we have become like a family. This can only
go forward. Inshallah, let's see," said the actor.
