Big B traces progress of Indian cinema in 100 years

The Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has reached the zenith of his success in the Bollywood industry, cherishes the progress in these 100 years. The Indian movie industry completes 100 years this year and Big B is happy that there's been a lot of progress in the society in the last 100 years.

"In these 100 years we have done a lot of progress, at least for the society. Earlier, film stars were looked down upon in the society, but now we have reached a stage where children from well-off families aspire to become a part of the industry," Amitabh told the IANS.

"I feel great about the new generation because I feel that they are very capable, doing a great job and all of them are moving in the right direction. They are hard working...they show so much talent that we have never seen," Mr Bachchan further added.
