Ganesh Acharya To Direct An Original Dance Film

By

Choreographer Ganesh Acharya says that he is planning to make an original dance film next year. He says that this film will be different from Remo D'Souza's Any Body Can Dance (ABCD) which released earlier this year.

Ganesh Acharya is a self-taught choreographer and he continues to use his dance skills in the Bollywood industry. Apart from choreography, Acharya is also an actor, director and producer. He has directed films such as Swami (2007), Money Hai to Honey Hai (2008) and Angel (2011) and these movies are based on vivid themes.

Now Ganesh plans to take a step ahead and make an original dance film. This dance hero is confident about the ideas he has for his next directorial venture. "I am planning to make a dance film next year. It will be original and different from ABCD. I am going to make a completely different film," Acharya said.

He said that the film will not be made in 3D. ABCD, a 3D dance film directed and choreographed by choreographer Remo D'Souza had Prabhudeva and Acharya in key roles. Acharya also mentioned that he has some interesting projects like Aamir Khan's Peekay, Saif Ali Khan's Bullet Raja and Indra Kumar's Grand Masti to choreograph.

Acharya choreographed 'Oye havan kund maston ka jhund' and a few other songs in the recently-released movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. "I had worked with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in Rang De Basanti so he asked me to do BMB," said Acharya.
