John Abraham expecting National Award for Shootout At Wadala

Actor John Abraham, who is all set to turn a baddie in his upcoming movie Shootout At Wadala, feels that this performance would be one of his best. He says it would be "great" if his work is lauded with the prestigious honour too.

As per reports, John Abraham will be playing the real life gangster Manya Surve in Shootout At Wadala. Talking to IANS, John said, "This is one of the best performances of my career. I hope to get the appreciation - critically and commercially, and if I get the National Award, then that will be great."

"For me, Shootout At Wadala is a completely different film. Audiences are going to be shocked seeing me in this film, in this role. I am very excited and would like to say to the audiences that I hope I don't disappoint you all and I hope that you will enjoy the film" he added.
