John Abraham Reveals His First Salary

John Abraham is one such Bollywood celebrity who had gone through tremendous struggle, in order to achieve fame in the industry. Hailing from a middle-class background, Abraham understands the value of money, and also saves for the future.

During an exclusive interview with a leading daily, John Abraham revealed that his first salary was Rs 11,800 and he still maintains an account in Bank of Maharastra. "My first salary was Rs 11,800 and I still maintain that account in Bank of Maharashtra. It helps to stay rooted in this industry," John Abraham told a daily.

The hunky actor further told the daily that he doesn't come from a very affluent and wealthy family. He said that his mother Firoza Irani still travels in local buses. "I come from a family that was far removed from opulence. My mother still travels in a BEST bus. Even I take a rickshaw every now and then. The advantage of a middle class upbringing is you value money and save for the future. And it's not about money as much as it's about everyday values," he told a daily.
