Actress Kareena Kapoor, who was born to a star-studded family revealed that she used to bunk school to visit her sister and actress Karisma Kapoor on the sets of her film. She tells us that she was so much in love with the arc-lights, movie sets and camera during her childhood days.
Kareena went to Welhams Girl's School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand as well as Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai. The actress admits that she skipped so many classes that she hardly remembers any lessons taught. "I don't remember any lesson. I used to bunk school a lot," she laughed and said.
The 32-year-old actress made her Bollywood debut in 2000 when she was 20 years old with the film Refugee in which she was cast opposite Abhishek Bachchan.
Kareena Kapoor has been featured in over 40 films so far in her 13-year-old career. She has had major hits like Jab We Met and we look forward to the de-glamourised Kareena in the forthcoming movie Satyagraha. For the first time, we will get to see the gorgeous actress as a serious journalist in a movie.
Satyagraha, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao in the lead roles, will hit the theatres this Friday, August 30.
