Kareena Kapoor Has Only Six Costume Change in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein

Kareena Kapoor will be playing a simple girl with a next door girl image in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and will have only six costume change in the film!

Yes, you heard it right! Kareena Kapoor, the begum of nawab Saif Ali Khan might be one of the most richest woman in the country, but she will be portraying a completely opposite avatar in her upcoming film with Imran Khan Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. The actress will have to make do with only six pair of costumes for most part of her upcoming Karan Johar's film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is shot mostly against a village backdrop, and since she is a simple girl fighting for the cause of the poor villagers, she could not wear anything flashy or look hot! Though Kareena will be having quite a few costume change in the first half, the second half will see Bebo in a low profile avatar.

When quizzed about Kareena's costume in the film, director Punit Malhotra laughed and said. "We had to throw (costume designer) Manish Malhotra out of the film and he really wanted to kill me for that. After all, the only requirement was for Kareena to wear just six costumes for a major part of the film and those too were simple enough so that they went with the de-glam persona that she is carrying."

It is being reported that Kareena Kapoor was very corporative throughout the making of the film and did not show any of the starry tantrums' that is common to Bollywood stars! Puneet made her try many outfits before finalising on six.

Well, let's hope we get to see a 'Kareena' that every young girl in the country can identify with! Let's keep our fingers crossed!
