dargah.
Katrina
made
an
early
morning
trip
to
Sheikh
Salim
Chishti's
dargah
on
July
18.
The
actress
is
a
devotee
of
Sheikh
Salim
Chishti
and
often
visits
his
dargah
in
Fatehpur.
Salim
Chishti
was
a
Sufi
saint
during
the
Mughal
empire.
"Katrina
visited
the
dargah
at
6
in
the
morning
and
tied
the
sacred
red
thread
for
a
wish.
It
was
Katrina's
fifth
trip
to
the
dargah," said
Arshad
Faridi,
son
of
the
religious
head
in
the
dargah.
Chishti's
tomb
is
in
the
middle
of
the
Emperor's
Courtyard
at
Fatehpur
Sikri,
Uttar
Pradesh.
Devotes
believe
that
by
offering
prayers
and
following
the
ritual
of
tying
a
thread
to
the
marble
windows
of
this
dargah,
their
wishes
will
be
fulfilled.
Arshad
said
the
actress
visits
the
dargah
often
to
pray
for
the
success
of
her
films.
Katrina
said
that
she
would
love
to
shoot
a
film
sequence
at
the
dargah
and
added
that
the
authorities
would
gladly
grant
her
permission
for
the
same.
The
holy
shrine
has
featured
in
films
like
Garm
Hawa
and
Yateem.
Katrina
Kaif
is
currently
working
on
two
films-
Dhoom
3
and
Bang
Bang.
Born
to
an
Indian
Muslim
father
and
an
English
Christian
mother,
Kaif
chooses
to
follow
different
religions.
Katrina,

before
the
