Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-awaited movie Ram Leela have been trapped into legal hassle, after an FIR was reportedly lodged against the film, in the court of the additional chief metropolitan magistrate.
As per the media reports, on Saturday (September 21, 2013), a case was registered against Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in the movie Ram Leela. The case was lodged after the official trailer of the film was released. The case was filed by Advocate Pawan Sharma, who have claimed "going by the promo, the movie Ram Leela, which is slated for release Nov 15, is promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion".
The trailer of Ram Leela, that was released last week, has received great response from both audience and critics. The trailer is a perfect combo of entertainment, dhamaka, masala, comedy and action. As per reports, Ram Leela is an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo and Juliet. The film portrays Ranveer-Dippy's violent and passionate love story, at the backdrop of the rural Rajasthan. Ram Leela is one of the most hyped and talked-about flick of the year and is all set to hit the theatres on 15 November 2013.
