Parineeti Chopra, A Mad Scientist In Hasee To Phasee

A 'Mad Scientist' is what Parnineeti Chopra plays in her upcoming film, Hasee To Phasee produced jointly by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap. Parineeti honestly believes that the treatment of the film is something you have never seen before on the big screen.

Parineeti, who is lucky enough to get very meaty roles in her career right from the beginning, is all thrilled to be a 'mad scientist' in her latest flick. The joint venture of once arch-rivals, Karan Johar and Anuragh Kashyap, Hasee To Phasee will showcase you a new flavour of romantic comedy.

Parineeti is really vocal about her new character and she says, "I wish I could tell you everything about my role. I play a scientist who is actually a little mad. It's something that I have never seen on screen." The 25-year-old actress shared this with media at the first look launch of the film.

The Ishaqzaade star also opined that the film will surprise the audience with its edgy substance. "We only show a teaser of the film in the trailer and I can assure you that you will be surprised to see the reason behind all the madness that you have seen in the promo. The film has much more than what we can show in the trailer. I can assure you that you will get a big surprise when you see the film," she further added.

Hasee Toh Phasee is directed by debutant Vinil Mathew and stars Student of the Year fame Sidharth Malhotra. The film is expected to hit the theatres on Feb 7.
