Aamir Khan recently celebrated his twenty five years in Bollywood by holding a special screening of his debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The actor also arranged for a party for his close friends and family. Aamir's ex-wife Reena, along with kids Junaid and Ira, was present at the party.
On the occasion, Aamir Khan revealed that he was keen on making a film to mark the centenary. "I was looking to make a film on 100 years of cinema...I wanted to do something but couldn't do it. I am happy that the Indian cinema has completed 100 years and happy to be part of this industry. My completion of 25 years in the industry coincides with 100 years of cinema and it makes me feel all the more special," Aamir told reporters.
Many Bollywood A-listers will be seen together in the title track of Bombay Talkies, which celebrate the 100 years of cinema. The song, which begins with Aamir and ends with Shahrukh Khan, features Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Sridevi, Ranbir Kapoor and many other celebrities. "It was great fun doing the song and being part of it. It feels great to be alongside such talented people in Bombay Talkies. I think there were many people (celebrities) who were missed out (from this song)," he said. PTI

Aamir Khan also said at this special day that he wished he could have got a chance to work with legendary actor Dilip Kumar.

Aamir said, "Dilipji is my favourite actor, I am a huge fan of him. He has influenced me a lot. I wish I could have got an opportunity to work with him."

Aamir Khan's special screening of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was attended by the cast and crew of the movie along with the singers Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan.
