Priyanka Chopra's Late Father Once Spoke About Her Marriage

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra lost her father in the recent past and she has now opened up about her life post her dear daddy's death. Although, she comes across as a pretty strong woman, Priyanka admits that she doesn't feel that she is strong enough to deal with her loss yet. While talking about her father, she also said that her father once spoke about PC's marriage.

"I don't come back home as much. I don't talk about it. I don't feel that I am strong enough to deal with it yet. I went back to work four days after he died as work was my only solace. Maybe, I am an escapist of sorts. I don't know if something like this can heal," expressed Priyanka.

The 31-year-old actress tells us that her father has once spoken to her about her marriage. She mentioned that he has set a standard for whoever Priyanka marries. Her father wanted her to marry someone who can take care of her the way her dad did.

This is the first time that Priyanka had to deal with the death of someone so close to her. The actress tells us that she didn't know that this loss being so permanent. "I have moved in with my mom. I was always very close to my mom, but mom and me have become a lot more friends now. I understand what she is going through and she understands what I am going through and we are there to comfort each other. The only difference being that while she likes to talk about him, I like not to," she said.
