Mumbai:
Filmmaker
Ram
Gopal
Varma
often
engaged
in
war
of
words
with
Karan
Johar,
has
extended
a
hand
of
friendship.
RGV
has
invited
KJo
to
watch
his
upcoming
movie
The
Attacks
of
26/11.
He
will
arrange
a
special
screening
for
Karan
here
soon.
Ram
Gopal
Varma
told
IANS
that
Karan
Johar
is
one
of
the
prominent
filmmakers
in
the
industry.
Besides,
he
is
also
a
good
friend
and
he
knows
him
very
well.
The
Attacks
of
26/11
has
been
a
satisfying
experience
for
him
after
a
long
time
and
so
he
wanted
to
show
it
to
some
of
his
friends.
RGV
and
KJo
are
often
engaged
in
a
war
of
words
on
Twitter.
Now,
on
the
social
networking
platform
itself
RGV
has
invited
Karan
for
the
special
screening
of
the
movie.
RGV
wrote
on
Twitter
inviting
KJo,
"Hey
Karan
I
never
ever
invited
you
to
see
any
of
my
films,
but
The
Attacks
of
26/11
is
one
film
I
would
really
like
you
to
see." Varma
says
he
should
be
holding
the
screening
this
weekend.
Over
the
years,
both
of
them
have
passed
snide
remarks
over
each
other
on
the
style
of
filmmaking.
But
now
Varma
clarified
his
stance
by
saying,
"I
have
never
had
any
problem
with
Karan.
It
is
media
who
has
written
about
all
these
things.
Yes,
I
might
have
in
a
funny
way
commented,
but
it
was
not
intended
other
way."
The
Attacks
of
26/11
is
based
on
Mumbai
terror
attacks
in
2008.
It
is
co-produced
by
Alumbra
Entertainment
and
Eros
International.
The
movie
stars
Nana
Patekar
and
Sanjeev
Jaiswal
in
main
roles
and
is
slated
to
release
on
March
1.
