Why Was Katrina Rejected From Ranbir's Besharam?

While rumours are makings rounds that all is not well with the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif relationship, we now hear that Ranbir had reportedly suggested Katrina's name for the lead in Besharam but director Abhinav Kashyap rejected.

The director then roped in Pallavi Sharda as the lead actress for the upcoming movie Besharam. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as Babli Besharam, where he plays the role of a poor Punjabi guy.

The director says that Ranbir Kapoor will entertain everyone in this upcoming comedy film. "He is here to entertain everyone, even a poor man, who is not educated," Abhinav said.

The reasons why the director rejected Ranbir's suggestion of casting Katrina in the film were not revealed. If Katrina had got this opportunity, she would have worked with boyfriend's family. Ranbir's parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh are also part of the film.

In the movie, Rishi Kapoor is seen as inspector Chulbul Chautala and his wife Neetu is Head Constable Bulbul Chautala. We wonder why the filmmaker did not allow Katrina in the Besharam family.

The movie is set to release on October 2 with new comer Pallavi Sharda. Although Pallavi has acted in My Name Is Khan in a supporting role, Besharam will be a her debut as an actress.
