Ranveer, Deepika, Bhansali To Be Booked?

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might be booked, following a petition that the movie Ram Leela contains vulgar and indecent substance. Reportedly, a local court has directed to lodge a case against Bhansali and the lead actors of the movie, following this complaint by a petitioner.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela might have struck a gold at the Box Office collections, but the film has also disappointed several moviegoers due to it's vulgar and adult dialogues. Not only the viewers, our film critics too have agreed upon the overrated vulgarity factor in Ram Leela. Prior to the film's release, the Kshatriya community had demanded that Ram Leela should be banned in Gujarat as it was "hurting to the sentiments of Hindus for promoting vulgarity". There was tremendous protest in some parts of Gujarat over the "provocative" words in the flick.

The story of Ram Leela revolves around the lovestruck, wild Ram (Ranveer Singh), Leela (Deepika Padukone and their violent love story. It is a high-voltage romantic drama, set against the backdrop of guns and vengeance and one of the most-awaited movies of the year. Ram Leela, that was released this Friday (September 15), has become the fifth biggest opener of the year 2013. The film has mostly received positive response and reviews from the viewers and the film critics.
