Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who is suffering from dengue, is recovering at a hospital in Mumbai. He has thanked his well-wishers for their support which he says has helped him tide over his weakest hour.
The ailing actor reached out to his friends and fans via Twitter. "Your love and blessings have helped me fight this illness. Thank you all for the warmth and wishes that helped me tide over my weakest hour," he tweeted.
The 28-year-old was admitted to a suburban hospital on September 27 following high fever. Doctors diagnosed it to be a case of dengue. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital today but is advised to rest for 15 more days.
"Ranveer Singh is on the road to recovery. However, doctors have advised complete rest for the next 15 days," said a source.
Ranveer was shooting in Durgapur, near Kolkata, for Gunday when he began to suffer from high fever. Despite the condition, he continued to shoot as per the schedule to avoid any inconvenience and loss to the production.
Ranveer''s illness delays the dubbing and music launch of his upcoming movie Ram Leela. And this incident will also push the shooting dates of Gunday and Kill Dill.
Ram Leela has already created a buzz with its trailer. Ranveer is paired with actress Deepika Padukone in the movie, which has given him an ample chance to show off his chiselled physique. Ram Leela will hit the theatres on November 15.
