The
upcoming
movie
Besharam
stars
Rishi
Kapoor
as
Inspector
Chulbul.
This
is
a
name
that
became
popular
after
Salman
Khan's
super-hit
film
Dabangg.
The
director
of
the
movie,
Abhinav
Kashyap
says
that
he
is
making
fun
of
himself.
"There
was
no
glimpse
of
Salman
Khan
also.
Chulbul
is
a
name
and
it
has
come
from
me.
So
I
can
make
fun
of
myself,
I
am
not
laughing
at
anyone
else," Kashyap
said
at
the
first
look
launch
of
the
film.
Meanwhile,
Besharam's
promotional
trailer
has
kicked
off
with
lead
actor
Ranbir
Kapoor
singing
'Tennu
vekhya
toh
ye
jaana
sanam'.
Kashyap
says
the
song
has
been
used
to
stress
the
point
that
it
is
a
romantic
film.
"Trailer
begins
with
the
Punjabi
version
of
'Tujhe
dekha
toh
ye
jana
sanam'
and
there
is
no
impression
of
Shah
Rukh
Khan.
DDLJ
(Dilwale
Dulhania
Le
Jaenge)
is
a
popular
film,
an
image
of
love
stories
and
I
have
used
that
image
in
my
way
because
this
is
predominantly
a
masala
romantic
comedy.
So
that
is
just
a
platform
to
explain
that
it
is
a
love
story,"
the
director
explained
said.
The
director
revealed
that
it
was
Ranbir
who
suggested
his
father's
name.
"I
am
excited
to
have
all
three
of
them
in
my
film.
I
didn't
know
that
Rishiji
had
never
played
a
policeman
in
his
entire
career.
I
was
so
excited
to
have
Rishiji
and
Neetuji
play
police
personnel
for
the
first
time,"
Abhinav
expressed.
The
comedy
film
also
stars
Neetu
Singh
as
an
inspector
in
it.
The
lead
actress
in
the
film
is
Pallavi
Sharda.
She
has
made
her
Bollywood
debut
in
a
supporting
role
with
Karan
Johar's
My
Name
Is
Khan.
Besharam
is
set
to
release
on
Gandhi
Jayanti,
October
2.
