Bollywood actor Salman Khan will soon be Lord Krishna in a animated film based on the epic 'Mahabarat'. Apart from Salman, the movie will also have a few other biggies from the B-Town who will be lending their voices for different characters from the epic.
Ajay Devgn will be lending his voice for the role of Arjun, Amitabh Bachan for Bheeshma, Sunny Deol will be Bheem, Anil Kapoor for Karan, Manoj Bajpai for Yudishtir and Vidya Balan for Draupadi.
A source tells us that the makers were keen to get Salman Khan on board as he has a very strong voice which is required for the role of Krishna. "In 'Mahabharat', one of the key characters is Krishna and the makers want to get someone, who has a sense of authority in his voice. They were keen to have Salman Khan on board for the role of Krishna" the source explained.
This animated movie based on the epic Mahabharat is being produced by Jayantilal Gada, Kushal Gada and Dhavel Gada under the banner of Pen India Pvt. Ltd. The film is set to hit the theatres on Christmas, December 25, 2013. The makers have are planning to launch the trailer of the animated film when Ram Leela releases on the big screen.
