Salman
Khan
is
known
to
launch
many
newcomer's
career
and
has
helped
them
achieve
stardom,
be
it
Himesh
Reshammiya,
Katrina
Kaif,
Zarine
Khan
or
Sneha
Ullal
for
that
matter.
He
has
always
lend
a
helping
hand
and
many
stars
have
been
able
to
get
a
foothold
in
the
industry
because
of
him.
Now
the
buzz
is
that
Dabangg
Khan
would
be
launching
Aditya
Pancholi's
son
and
Sunil
Shetty's
daughter
Athiya
in
his
home
production.
The
movie
is
set
to
be
produced
under
the
Salman
Khan
Productions
and
will
be
a
remake
of
the
1983
film
Hero.
The
original
was
directed
by
Subhash
Ghai
and
starred
Jackie
Shroff
and
Meenakshi
Sheshadri
in
the
lead
roles
who
were
relatively
new
at
the
time.
The
shooting
of
the
movie
will
commence
early
next
year
and
would
probably
be
a
2015
release.
The
movie
will
be
directed
by
Nikhil
Advani
of
Kal
Ho
Naa
Ho
fame.
There
have
also
been
reports
that
Govinda
and
Vinod
Khanna
are
being
considered
for
the
roles
essayed
by
Sanjeev
Kumar
and
Shammi
Kapoor
respectively.
When
asked
about
the
remake,
Ghai
told
IANS
"Yes,
I
am
very
happy
that
Hero
is
being
remade
and
Salman
Khan
and
his
team
will
certainly
do
a
good
job.
The
film
will
be
directed
by
Nikhil
Advani
and
it
will
go
on
floors
by
early
2014"
Sooraj
Pancholi,
the
main
lead
of
the
remake,
had
recently
been
in
the
news
because
of
his
connection
in
the
Jiah
Khan
suicide
case.
The
actor
who
is
out
on
bail
will
try
to
put
the
past
behind
him
and
concentrate
on
the
wonderful
opportunity
that
has
been
bestowed
upon
him
by
Sallu
bhai.
