Mumbai: Superstar Shahrukh Khan, who made bold headlines due to his surrogate baby, has finally confirmed the birth of a baby boy at his home. The actor also told the media that he has named his son AbRam. However, SRK denied that he took any sex determination test.
Shahrukh Khan told the media that the baby boy was born prematurely and both Gauri and he were worried about the child's health, that is why they refused to comment on this topic earlier. SRK told in a statement, "Amidst all the noise that has been going around, the sweetest is the one made by our newborn baby, AbRam. He was born prematurely by several months but has finally come home. Gauri and our whole family have been dealing with his health issues for a long time now."
Shahrukh Khan also clarified that he never went for any sex determination test for his baby. The actor said, "Just to put the record straight, there was no sex determination for our child. The baby was born much before the speculations of 'sex determination' and other 'issues' pertaining to the same were being raised in the media by some organisations."
While talking to the reporters, Shahrukh Khan also revealed that the baby is born through surrogacy.
Our heartiest congratulations are with the Khan family!
