Shahrukh
Khan
decided
to
take
his
bond
with
Farhan
Akhtar
and
Ritesh
Sidhwani's
Excel
Entertaiment
a
little
more
further
after
the
huge
success
of
the
Don
franchise
at
the
Indian
as
well
as
overseas
Box
0ffice.
Don
2
which
was
even
more
successful
than
the
original
really
did
make
SRK
and
Farhan
join
hands
for
yet
another
new
venture
which
has
been
reportedly
tilted
Raees.
Raees
is
said
to
be
directed
by
Rahul
Dholakia.
The
film
is
reported
to
see
both
Shahrukh
and
Farhan
sharing
on
screen
space
for
the
first
time.
"Shooting
for
this
film
will
begin
from
mid
next
year.
Shahrukh
Khan
will
be
playing
a
bootlegger
and
Farhan
a
policeman.
It
is
an
interesting
story," Dholakia
told
a
daily.
Rumours
are
to
be
believed
SRK
is
playing
a
Gujrati
character
and
Farhan
will
be
the
cop
chasing
SRK
for
being
a
bootlegger.
Shahrukh
Khan
previously
worked
in
Don
which
was
directed
by
Farhan
Akhtar
and
both
received
high
appreciation
for
there
roles
respectively.
The
film
was
titled
hit
in
the
Indian
Box
Office
and
a
blockbuster
overseas.
After
seeing
the
duo
share
a
actor-director
relationship,
it
sure
would
be
interesting
to
see
them
act
with
each
other.
Raees
is
slated
to
go
on
floor
by
mid
2014
and
will
probably
hit
the
silver
screens
by
Eid
2015.
