Shahrukh
Khan
and
Farhan
Akhtar
have
had
a
long
and
fruitful
association.
Shahrukh
has
acted
in
two
films
directed
by
Farhan
Akhtar.
Their
first
movie
together
was
Don
in
2006
and
then
it's
sequel
Don
2.
And
if
the
reports
are
true,
SRK
in
an
interview
with
a
leading
magazine,
has
confirmed
that
he
would
be
playing
a
Gujrati
Don
in
an
untitled
film
to
be
produced
by
Farhan
Akhtar's
Excel
Entertainment.
The
movie
will
be
directed
by
Rahul
Dholakia
and
Shahrukh
will
be
playing
a
large-hearted
Gujarati
don
in
it.
Ritesh
Sidhwani,
co-owner
of
Excel
Entertainment
was
quoted
as
saying
"Shahrukh
is
doing
the
film.
We
don't
know
yet
when
the
shooting
for
the
movie
will
start
but
it's
going
to
be
sometime
next
year.
Shahrukh
has
really
liked
the
script
and
has
given
us
a
nod
but
because
of
his
prior
commitments,
we
still
haven't
figured
out
the
exact
time
the
film
will
go
on
floors." When
asked
about
the
future
of
Don
series,
he
said
"With
a
franchise
like
Don
and
the
character,
its
important
to
get
excited
by
the
script.
It
is
very
crucial
for
us
as
we
do
not
want
to
do
a
movie
together
just
for
the
sake
of
it."

and

the
movie
with
Farhan
Akhtar's
company.
SRK
currently
shooting
for
Farah
Khan's
Happy
New
Year
which
would
be
