Shahrukh
Khan
is
one
actor
who
started
off
his
career
with
negative
roles
but
his
destiny
led
him
to
be
the
biggest
superstar
the
country
has
ever
witnessed.
Having
shown
his
performance
range
in
antagonist
roles
in
films
like
Baazigar,
Darr
and
Anjaam,
Shahrukh
is
now
keen
to
do
another
negative
role
that
satisfies
him
as
an
actor.
Sometimes
negative
roles
turn
out
to
be
well
written
and
meaty
than
the
protagonist
roles
-
Finest
example
being
the
iconic
Gabbar
Singh
in
Sholay.
When
quizzed
about
playing
an
anti-hero
in
films
again,
Shahrukh
said,
"Yes,
I
am
all
for
it,
I
would
like
to
do
it.
Though
I
have
been
told
many
a
time
not
to
do
it
because
children
like
me.
But
it's
a
role
and
yes,
I
would
like
to
do
it."
Shahrukh
thinks
that
even
though
this
film
may
not
make
it
to
the
100-crore
club,
it
would
be
satisfying
for
the
actor
in
him.
The
point
of
accepting
such
a
role
is
to
widen
your
horizons
as
an
actor.
Even
though
playing
the
villain
is
not
a
new
territory
for
Shahrukh,
this
time
it
is
going
to
be
a
lot
more
different
because
things
have
changed
so
much
in
the
industry
now.
Indian
filmmakers
have
already
proved
that
they
can
make
films
that
turn
heads
in
foreign
film
festivals.
Recently,
India's
offbeat
film
circle
celebrated
Martin
Scorsese's
letter
to
Anurag
Kashyap
praising
latter's
gangster
film
Gangs
of
Wasseypur.
In
this
changed
scenario,
Shahrukh
deserves
a
landmark
villain
role
that
can
capture
the
attention
of
directors
in
international
film
festivals.
This
must
be
a
movie
that
doesn't
fall
into
the
category
of
run
of
the
mill
Shahrukh
movies.
Shahrukh
clarified
about
his
dream
of
playing
the
villain
while
he
attended
the
launch
of
Deanne
Panday's
fitness
book
"Shut
Up
and
Train",
"It
may
not
be
commercially
very
befitting,
it
may
not
enter
the
clubs.
But
as
an
actor,
I
would
like
to
do
it.
It's
been
a
long
time."
Well,
some
consider
his
roles
in
films
like
Don
and
Don
2
as
negative,
but
the
interesting
fact
is
that
Shahrukh
himself
doesn't
consider
them
as
real
negative
roles.
He
said
Don
has
been
stylised
and
is
beautiful,
it
is
hardly
like
a
negative
role.
I
would
really
like
to
try
a
proper
negative
role".
Shahrukh
is
now
busy
doing
Farah
Khan's
film
Happy
New
Year.
