"As a child I used to be crazy about love stories. It's
something which was on my wish list," Shraddha told the PTI.
Shraddha, 24, made her debut with Teen Patti which failed
to garner attention at the Box Office. Her next film was Luv Ka
The End, a young romantic film. Now, she will be seen as the
leading lady in Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2.
Aditya Roy Kapur, who is doing the lead role in the film, has
previously worked as a supporting actor in films like Action
Replayy, Guzaarish and others. It will be for the first time
that Aditya will be seen in a lead role. "It is not that I had
planned to do a romantic film as a lead hero. I think it is
impossible to plan your career. I react to what I like. I like the
people I will be working with," Aditya said.
On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapoor, says he did not make a
conscious effort to enter the romantic zone. Talking to the IANS,
Kapoor said, "Absolutely not, no plans. I think it's impossible to
plan your career and make it go the way you want it to."
"There is a saying 'If you want to make god laugh, tell him your
plans.' I react to work that I like, and what I think will be fun
to work on, with people I find interesting and nice. This is the
bunch I am very happy to have worked with," he said at the music
