Newbie
Shraddha
Kapoor,
daughter
of
actor
Shakti
Kapoor,
says
she
did
not
like
her
father
playing
a
villain
in
films.
Shakti
Kapoor
played
negative
roles
in
films
like
R
ocky,
Qurbani,
Himmatwala,
Hero
and
many
more.
He
established
himself
as
one
of
the
most
sought-after
villains
in
Bollywood.
"I
used
to
shout
at
him
for
doing
villain
roles.
I
used
to
be
sad
about
it
(playing
villain).
But
then
my
mother
explained
he
is
just
acting," Shraddha
told
PTI.
In
the
nineties,
Shakti
ventured
into
comic
roles
in
films
like
Raja
Babu,
Insaaf,
Baap
Numbri
Beta
Dus
Numbri,
Andaz
Apna
Apna,
Chaalbaaz
and
others.
"I
loved
him
in
comic
roles.
In
real
life
he
is
very
funny,"
Shraddha
said.
Shraddha,
whose
aunt
is
actress
Padmini
Kolhapure,
says
filmi
talks
dominate
the
house.
"Our
conversation
most
of
the
time
is
about
films.
We
discuss
what
films
to
watch...the
good
performances
and
all,"
she
said.
Shraddha
entered
filmdom
with
Teen
Patti
(2010)
alongside
Amitabh
Bachchan,
R
Madhavan
and
others,
which
did
not
fare
well
at
the
box
office.
Her
next
release
Luv
Ka
The
End
(2011)
of
Y-Films,
a
subsidiary
of
Yash
Raj
Films,
did
average
business.
"My
father
and
aunt
Padmini
Kolhapure
advise
me
a
lot.
He
(Shakti
Kapoor)
has
interesting
point
of
view,"
she
said.
Shraddha
is
very
close
to
her
father
though
he
is
strict
while
her
mother
Shivangi
is
her
best
friend.
"My
dad
is
a
bit
strict
but
protective.
But
I
share
a
great
comfort
level
with
my
parents
and
I
can
tell
them
anything
-
like
if
I
have
a
crush
on
someone
or
somebody
likes
me,
I
can
tell
them,"
she
added.
Shraddha
will
be
seen
next
in
Mukesh
Bhatt's
Aashiqui
2
opposite
Aditya
Roy
Kapur.
The
promos
of
the
film
are
out
and
her
parents
are
quite
excited
about
it.
"I
am
quite
happy
as
we
are
receiving
good
response
for
the
film
and
music.
My
parents
are
also
happy,"
she
said.
