When Sonakshi got inspired by Madhubala, Waheeda Rehman

Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha-Ranveer Singh starrer Lootera is a period romance drama set in 1950s in Bengal, which would be Vikramaditya Motwane's second film after his much acclaimed Udaan. According to the reports, Sonakshi Sinha has taken yesteryear actresses Madhubala and Waheeda Rehman as her reference points.

According to many, Sonakshi closely resembles to yesteryear actress Reena Roy. Talking to the IANS, the Shotgun girl said, "I think she (Reena Roy) came after 1950s in the industry. I would think of Madhubalaji, Waheeda Rehmanji, and Suchitra Sen. I can only think of these faces. I am quite excited about the film. I am really looking forward to it."

When asked the director Vikramaditya Motwane, if he feel any kind of pressure, he told the IANS, "I do not feel the pressure. I am not bothered. Rather, I am very much proud of the film. I hope people like it. I want everyone to enjoy the film."
