Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has confirmed that he is launching Aditya Pancholi's son Suraj Pancholi in Hero's remake. Earlier, it was reported that Salman (who is co-producing the movie) might drop Suraj from the remake as the upcoming actor was in the jail for abetting actress Jiah Khan's suicide.

However, Subhash Ghai has confirmed that Suraj Pancholi is very much a part of the movie. The showman also said that Salman Khan is one person who always fulfills his promise. Talking about Suraj's debut, Subhash Ghai told PTI, "Suraj is not at fault and why should he be punished for it? He is a wonderful and potential actor. We had committed to him and we will stand by it. How can we go back? Salman is not the person who will go back on his words."
