Suraj Pancholi gets bail in Jiah Khan's suicide case

The Bombay High Court has released actress Jiah Khan's boyfriend Suraj Pancholi on bail today. Suraj Pancholi was in jail for abetting Khan's suicide.

However, The Bombay High Court has asked Suraj Pancholi to surrender his passport and pay a surety of rs 50,000 to the court. Reportedly, Suraj filed a bail application in The Bombay High court, after the session court rejected his bail plea last week.

Suraj Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was in a relationship with late Jiah Khan. After six days of Jiah's death, Jiah's mother Rabiya Amin Khan released a six later suicide note to police. In the suicide note Jiah mentioned about the physical and mental trauma her boyfriend gave her when she was alive. Jiah also wrote about rape and abortion in the note. After getting this suicide note, the Mumbai police arrested Suraj for abetting Jiah's suicide.

Jiah Khan committed suicide by hanging herself in her Juhu apartment on 3rd June.
